I know I’ve been not so realistic to promise 1 week, 1
beauty insider post. I guess I’m just a
lazy procrastinator about this. I admit it’s not easy to do a quick research
about a thing and write it with my own words. I do read all the information
before I write it to become a blog post.
Ok, enough excuses. Today I want to tell you about one of
the most famous crème in the world. It comes in a blue tin, yes now it comes in
a blue jar. Many people swear that it have the same effect as crème de la mer.
Nivea crème was launched in 1911 by a Germany company,
NIVEA. Nivea crème is the first water in oil emulsifier. First it was marketed
as a daily moisturizer for women, but later the company knows that men use the
crème for before and after shaving. There are many ways to use this products.
This is become a multi purpose product. At that time the researcher did not
know why nivea crème is become a multi purpose product.
After the debut in Hamburg in 1911, nivea crème not only
famous in Germany but also in other city overseas such as Buenos Aires, New
York , Sidney, & Moskow. It become a popular moisturizer to protect from
cold weather. In UK, the company change the famous blue tin to jar because UK
customers perceived tin as a shoe polish. Years ago I still can see the blue
tins in Indonesia but now only the blue jars that you will find in the store.
If you still wondering about this product, this is a very
greasy moisturizer. But it is very moisturizing, You can you use it all over
your body. Even in the past people like to use this crème as a hair gel, crazy
right? If you have dry skin, this is will be a perfect. If you have dry hands,
ditch hand cream and buy this. I prefer use it as a hand cream because it’s
very moisturizing and the smell is really pleasant. Yes, many people use it as
a replacement of crème de la mer. But be careful, this is not for everybody. I
tried twice & I got patches in my skin.
If you never try nivea crème, just try it. Give this product
a chance ok. I forget the price but it’s not expensive. I’ve got a travel size
jar for around Rp 10,000. You can get it everywhere from Carrefour, Guardian,
to local supermarket. This crème just awesome. My hands use to bleed because of
dryness and now it’s getting better.

Tips:
- Use it as an all over body moisturiser once a week
- If you have dry feet, use this crème all over the feet and use socks. Next morning, you’ll have soft feet
- Want to try this as face moisturizer? Test it first like in small part of your face
- If you just feel your face is getting worse after use this a couple times, just stop. I feel it in the 3rd morning of trying
- Don’t use it as a hair crème, just don’t
