Kitchen Beautician: Honey

Hello Beauties,

My skin is going crazy lately, it was horrible. I've got breakout around my cheek, sunburn above my lips, eczema around my nose and some dry patches. I assume those problems cause by the incredibly hot weather and my skin is a little bit sensitive. So, my mother suggest me to use honey as face treatment. It works wonders, right now after a week I saw a huge different. These are ways that I use to treat my skin.

  • Face Mask                                                                                                        You can use only honey or mix it with other ingredients such as egg white,  cucumber and lemon. Leave it for a good 15 minuets before rinse it off
  • Spot Treatment                                                                                                Put honey to your acne and cover it with bandage over night, in the morning you will notice a huge difference in problematic area. Repeat it until the acne is gone
  • Overnight Face Mask                                                                                            I know it seems crazy to use honey as overnight facial mask. It is sticky and feel not very comfortable. It is not the most luxurious thing you can put before bed. The way I use it is only put honey in several problematic spot (mine is sunburn and dry patches). Take some time before bed and use honey to make sure you getting use to it before go to bed (10 minuets is enough).
You can use any kind of honey that you like but it is better to use honey that not mixed with other ingredients.
